Enjoy the convenience of a private dock with a 10,000-pound rated boat lift and a WaveRunner lift while overlooking the picturesque canal waterfront in the beautiful Punta Gorda Isles - where manatees and dolphins occasionally appear. Boats and WaveRunners can be rented from a nearby marina or brought along. Open water access to Charlotte Harbor is only 10 minutes by boat. An array of beach gear is also available for those wanting to relax on a charming local beach.
Staying at Villa Tranquility places you in a desirable location, with a mere 25-minute walk to Fishermen's Village, downtown restaurants, and shopping destinations. Additionally, downtown Fort Myers is just a 34-minute drive away. Discover the beauty of the canals with complimentary kayaks or embark on a breezy cruise downtown on our provided beach bikes, reaching your destination in under 15 minutes. All amenities are provided free of charge.
Upon entering the villa, you will step into the living room that offers plenty of seating for you and your guests, as well as an assortment of books, magazines, and engaging games and puzzles, all centered around the surrounding area. Off the living room is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Both the living room and kitchen offer direct access to the lanai. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and at home.
The master suite has extra-large closets and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sink vanity, as well as a futon chaise lounge chair. At the other end of the Villa, are two beautifully furnished bedrooms with closets and a shared bathroom, complete with tub, shower, and spacious vanity. The house comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests, with three king beds and 2 chaise loungers that convert to twin beds, and the couch. Kindly seek prior permission before hosting additional visitors.
As a thoughtful gesture, a chilled bottle of sparkling wine awaits in the refrigerator for your enjoyment. Please let us know in advance if you wish otherwise.

Check-in time is 4:30pm EST and check-out time is 10:00am EST. Early and late check-In / check-out is accommodated whenever possible, based on availability. Associated fees are as follows:
- Early Check-In 8am-12pm: $250
- Early Check-In 12pm-4pm: $150
- Late Check-Out Before 12pm: $150
- Late Check-Out 12pm-5pm: $250

Cancellation Policy
We offer a 60-day cancellation policy on all stays:
Full Refund: Cancellations made 60 days or more before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
No Refund: Cancellations made fewer than 60 days before the arrival date are non-refundable.
Guest Verification Policy
Before your stay, you’ll be asked to complete guest verification and authorize a damage deposit or purchase a Waiver Plus via third-party provider Truvi. They will contact you by email and/or text to complete these steps. Please complete them before your stay for a smooth check-in.

This was a wonderful home to stay in with my family. Many rentals include bare minimum supplies and kitchen supplies however, this host thought of everything and more. All items were great quality and it truly felt like we were in a home away from home. The pool was perfect for the kids as well, they were like little fishes for days. My mom is disabled so it was important to have a place where she could also partake and this couldnt have been more perfect! The host was more than accomodating and very communicative. If I ever return to Punta Gorda I would definitely rebook.

A peaceful and beautiful getaway! Positive: A beautiful home, located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. This home exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, stocked with clean towels, bedding, etc., the kitchen was stocked with every kind of item one could need, the pool and spa were immaculate, the bikes and special amenities were plenty and like new, and the location being on an intracoastal canal added that special touch that only being on the water can add. Negative: I wish the beds were a bit softer… but that’s a personal preference and it’s impossible to meet everyone’s sleeping preference. Everything about this home was exceptional.

The entire family enjoyed it! definitely will book again! Positive: The location was perfect! Very easy to get to the Convention Center, shopping and dinning. The pool and spa was awesome, we also had access to other equipment for outdoor activities. The house was very clean and updated, the furniture was clean, no stains and modern, liked it! The host was amazing in make sure to connect with us ahead of arriving to answer any questions and gave us some tips on the property and the area. Awesome property to book! Negative: There wasn’t anything to dislike. It was February and it was bite cold. However the heated pool and spa made the difference. Which the host gave super detailed instruction when we spoke and it was also on the instructions that came with the booking.

The tour will take you through four different ecosystems of Florida, including the Telegraph Cypress Swamp. Their expert guides are knowledgeable and passionate about the history, wildlife, and various ecosystems you will see and will enhance your experience with their commentaries. Get back to nature and enjoy the excitement of a true wilderness adventure. Services include a Swamp Buggy Eco-Tour, walking tours, and specialty tours. For a wheelchair-accessible tour, please call to book at least 24 hours in advance. After you’ve worked up an appetite on one of their incredible tours, stop by the Gator Shack Restaurant for some incredible eats! The menu rotates daily, so there’s always something fresh and new to try.
Peace River Wildlife Center
Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC) non-profit wildlife rehabilitation and education center tucked neatly into the mangroves overlooking Charlotte Harbor at Ponce de Leon Park in Punta Gorda Isles, Florida. The Center and gift shop are open to the public for tours every day from 11 am to 4 pm. There is no admission fee but donations are greatly appreciated.
IguanaLand
IguanaLand is the largest reptile zoo in the world, exhibiting over 200 different species of reptiles from around the globe. We’re dedicated to educating everyone about these amazing animals with unique, hands-on experiences, as well as supporting conservation efforts for their natural habitats. Come and explore the park at your own pace or upgrade your visit with an Animal Encounter or VIP Tour, bookable online through our website! Whether you are already a reptile fan or just curious about the incredible and diverse animals in this group, IguanaLand is an amazing new kind of zoo that will capture the imagination of everyone. Guests are welcome to bring a snack or a lunch to eat in our covered picnic area, surrounded by curious creatures! Like most zoos, IguanaLand is primarily out doors and we encourage guests to dress properly for the weather, including close-toed shoes, hats, and lots of sun screen. Families can typically see the whole park in 1.5 -2 hours.
Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center
A free nature park with visitor center, guided tours, educational programs, and recreation that accesses 3,000 acres of public preserve land, with approximately four miles of hiking trails. CHEC boasts a large, screened pavilion for picnics, bird blind (Wildlife Observation) area, Animal Clubhouse with bird and animal displays, alligator dock, and butterfly garden provide enjoyment for visitors. Guided tours with volunteer trail interpreters are available from November through April, Monday through Friday at 9 am. Welcome to the wild side!
Octagon Wildlife Sanctuary
Octagon is a forever home for discarded and, many times, mistreated exotic animals. We are not a zoo and none of the resident animals have been taken from the wild. We provide a safe haven and healthy environment for these magnificent animals. The sanctuary offers guided tours which feature an up-close view of the animals (from a safe distance). See lions, tigers, bears, and more. They are wheelchair accessible and have beverages available for purchase. There are multiple areas to sit and cool off in the shade.
J. Meraki Beauty Emporium
They are a full-service salon offering all hair services, skin, nails, spray tans, micro blading and a bridal suite. Located in the historical downtown section in Punta Gorda, their building is over 100 years old. They are GoldWell certified, Keratin complex certified and GK hair. They are exclusively Oribe styling products, and carry a skin and makeup line called Glo along with another skin line called Image.
